The Characteristic we will be looking for over the next fortnight is CONCENTRATION.

Year 3 and 4 are going to embark on a sponsored pilgrimage to Mount St Bernard's Abbey on Wednesday March 27th. It's a 5  mile walk so quite a challenge but should be enjoyable.

Our Lenten activities are well underway. Year 5 and 6 have organised fantastic games for the whole school to enjoy at morning break. Great work Year 5 and 6.

March 9th: After our final run at Sir John Moore School, Appleby Magna, Marcus Godfrey (Year 5) has been selected to represent the county in cross country running. Well done Marcus! Also, a big well done to all of our children who have turned out once a month since October, to represent our school.  Some children have shown a huge amount of courage by overcoming personal fears.

Friday 8th February: Thank you to parents and FOHC for joining together for our Pizza and Puzzle night. This was a fun night to launch our work with children on Route to Resilience.

Members of our Running Club ran at Broomleys on Saturday 10th November.

Well done everyone!

Year 5 and 6 have safely returned from their residential. A good time was had by all (including staff). The children were a credit to their families. A big thank you to all of our staff who left their own families so that our children could build more happy memories of their primary school life.
